Agreement to these terms

This website, shritejpatil.in, is owned and operated by Shritej Patil, an independent freelance web designer and developer based in Maharashtra, India ("I", "me", "my"). By accessing or using the site you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site.

These terms cover use of the website itself. Any project I carry out for you is governed by a separate written proposal or contract, which takes precedence over these terms where the two differ.

Permitted use

You may browse this site and share links to it for personal or business reference. You agree not to:

• copy, reproduce, republish or redistribute the site's design, code, copy, images or video without my written permission;
• use the site or its contents to train or fine-tune machine learning models without my written permission;
• scrape, mirror, frame or systematically extract content from the site;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting environment or any connected system;
• submit false, abusive, spam or automated messages through the contact form;
• use the site in any way that breaks applicable law or interferes with other visitors' use of it.

I may restrict or block access to the site for anyone who breaches these terms.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — including the layout, design system, animations, source code, written copy, photography and video — is owned by me or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing on this site transfers any licence or ownership to you.

The name "Shritej Patil" and the site's wordmark are used as marks of my freelance practice. Third-party names, logos and trademarks shown in project case studies remain the property of their respective owners and are displayed for identification only.

Portfolio and client work

Projects shown in the work section are presented as examples of my capabilities. Some pieces may be concept work, redesigns or explorations rather than live commissioned projects, and live sites may have changed since the screenshots were taken. Client work is published with permission where required.

If you own a project featured here and would like it amended or removed, contact me and I will act on the request promptly.

Enquiries and quotes

Submitting the contact form does not create a contract or oblige either of us to proceed. Any figure, timeline or availability mentioned on this site or in an initial reply is indicative only, and becomes binding only once set out in a signed proposal or written agreement between us.

I reserve the right to decline any enquiry or project at my discretion.

Project engagements

Where we do work together, the terms of the engagement — scope, deliverables, revision rounds, schedule, fees, payment milestones, ownership of the final deliverables and cancellation — are set out in the project agreement signed by both parties. Unless that agreement says otherwise, ownership of the final deliverables transfers to you on full payment, and I retain the right to display the work in my portfolio.

Availability of the site

I aim to keep this site available and up to date, but I do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The site may be unavailable during maintenance, updates or third-party outages, and content may be changed, moved or removed at any time without notice.

Third-party links and services

This site links to external websites and relies on third-party services for hosting, fonts, scripts and contact form delivery. I do not control those services and am not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy and security practices. Following an external link is at your own risk, and the terms of that third party will apply once you leave this site.

Disclaimer

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Information published here is general in nature and is not professional, legal or financial advice. While I take care to keep it accurate, I do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, business, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of — or inability to use — this website.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy

Personal information you submit through this site is handled as described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Maharashtra, India. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

Changes to these terms

I may revise these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and it takes effect as soon as it appears here. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
